FAQ

This Master is an important opportunity for healthcare professionals (dental hygienists, nurses, obstetricians, speech therapists) interested in acquiring competences such as: processing a suspected diagnosis, preventing and treating specific diseases of hard and soft tissues of the mouth. Also, since it is a First-Level Master, it exonerates from ECM-related obligations for one year.

The course will condense the theoretical part in 6 days during the academic year 2024/2025.

A different topic will be treated in each session, to ensure new perspectives for day-to-day clinical practice. Classroom lessons are always held on Saturdays (full day) every 2 months, with a mandatory attendance of 70% of the lessons. The theoretical part is linked to the practical part, where  knowledge acquired during lessons is consolidated.

Hands-on practiceis essential to master the topics treated in the Master, and for this reason, students will flank tutors and attendings of the Oral Pathology and Medicine clinic, at the Dental Clinic of the Universal Hospital of Padua. Students can decide when to attend the ward, between Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (between 8AM and 1 PM). On these days, there will be different clinical activities, to encompass all the interesting aspects of oral diseases.

The final exam will be an oral test.
