The Course in Removable Dental Prosthetics has the purpose of training, updating and guiding students in the theoretical-practical procedures necessary to carry out the diagnosis, treatment plans, planning and implementation of removable and/or semi-removable prosthetics, in patients requiring the total or partial recovery of edentulous dental arches, with the aid of analogue or digital procedures. 

Students will attend the Dental Prosthetics Ward of the Dental Clinic UOC – Padua University Hospital, once a week, for one year, flanked by tutors expert in dental prosthetics, for clinical activities. While lectures will be held in person, once a month. Dates and times may vary, based on the lecturers’ needs.

The Course in Removable Dental Prosthetics entails a series of clinical activities, through which students will carry out the diagnosis, treatment plans, planning and implementation of removable and/or semi-removable prosthetics, in patients requiring the total or partial recovery of edentulous dental arches. 

The course is held once a week at the Dental Clinic UOC of the Padua University Hospital, on Wednesday morning or afternoon, for one year. Shifts are scheduled according to the students’ needs, as specified during the first week of the course.

The Course in Removable Dental Prosthetics is addressed to professionals who wish to expand their knowledge on total and/or partial recovery, with removable dental prosthetics in edentulous patients.

Students will be capable of carrying out diagnosis, treatment plans, planning and implementation of removable prosthetics, with the aid of analogue or digital procedures. 

Therefore, these new professional figures may be hired as prosthetic consultants in private dental practices.

The Course in Removable Dental Prosthetics provides in-depth training on: 

DENTAL GERIATRICS

FAQ

The clinical course is held once a week at the Dental Clinic UOC of the Padua University Hospital, on Wednesday morning or afternoon, during which students will carry out care activities in the dental prosthetics department.

The theoretical course will be held once a month, in the classrooms of the Dental Clinic UOC – Padua University Hospital, on Tuesday morning and/or in other days to be agreed with the lecturer.
