The Master in Invisible Orthodontics with Aligners prepares professionals, with a degree in Orthodontics and Dental Prosthetics, and dealing with orthodontics as experts or exclusivists, to formulate the correct diagnosis and plan a suitable treatment for simple and complex clinical cases, using invisible aligners.

The course will cover topics such as the organization of an orthodontics treatment plan with aligners, use of dental movement simulation software, intra-oral scanning to create virtual models, and management of different types of aligners available on the market.

The goal of the Master is to help doctors provide their patients with the option of treatment with invisible aligners – one of the most aesthetically pleasing and innovative orthodontics techniques available today – to obtain effective biomechanical results.

The Master in Invisible Orthodontics with Aligners provides an initial description of the characteristics and news in the invisible aligner field.

Particular attention is devoted to the correct prescription compilation and management of treatment phases.

The first part of the Master focuses on the correct planning procedures of the clinical case, the use of virtual planning platforms, and the correct selection of the aids to use. Students will learn how to manage the alignment and levelling phase, according to the initial crowding, or in the case of extractions. It describes the mechanics for correctly planning treatments concerning the different kinds of malocclusion.

The Master in Invisible Orthodontics with Aligners is addressed to all graduates in Orthodontics and Dental Prosthetics, dealing with orthodontics as exclusivists or specialists. Applicants should have previous orthodontics experience, in order to manage all clinical procedures safely.

Therefore, students will learn the historical fundamentals of this technique and its evolutions. During the Master, they will acquire autonomy in formulating diagnoses for simple or complex cases. Through the Master, they will understand how to manage the different therapy phases, even in multidisciplinary cases, and how to manage orthodontics complications.

Offering patients the option of orthodontics treatment with invisible aligners allows students to stand out in the orthodontics market of their work area. It opens up possibilities of collaborations as consultants for other dental practices.
